I dance at rest and in movement, in and with the empty space. Get to know the space, engage with it, collaborate. In a slow process, the empty space is adapted with frosted, flimsy plastic foil—hanging in space on fine transparent elastic threads. Slightly above the ground, slightly below the ceiling. A small passage along the walls invites the viewer to pass by. The sculpture is moving in the breeze of people passing by. Reacts to gentle touches and may seem to breathe gently. S/he communicates, shivers, shakes, whispers, answers, asks. Quiet crackling, rustling, swishing. Space and viewer overlapping each other. Volumes dancing—building no clearly defined forms in most subtle variations.

Nor No—Breastplate a two person exhibition in collaboration with Valentina Pini
In Valentina Pini and Beatrice Lozza’s subtle but expansive installation their works are deliberately put in relation. Through the plastic sheet we glimpse a metal shape that reflects light. Its structure is familiar and reminiscent of a shell. It is a scale from an animal’s carapace cast in lead; derived from Kwa Mai Mai, the traditional healer Market in Johannesburg, South Africa.—A strange object; one one hand a fragment of protection, or second skin, but at the same time an armour-like structur, able to compress and removes one’s breath.
